2002 jdm ej25 ecu drama
Hi
Wondering if anyone has a copy of the ecu pin readout.I have search web etc but cannot find same as my ecu.
The numbers on ecu are: 22611 AG491
A18-000 D9D 2228
It has 4 plugs, with 12 pins 1st, then 9, then 7, then 9.
Any leads greatly appreciated.
Regards, Keith

Cool, how about a pic of the engine too.
I promise this is leading somewhere, not just asking for random pics.

Ok. it's an avcs EJ25 from a Gen3 legacy, I'm thinking it's probably more a 99-00 model than an 02. Have a look under the oil cap for a date stamp
to give an approximation.
Is the ecu Jecs or Denso made?
That's a fairly rare engine, hence the difficulty in finding a pinout. I could work it out without a pinout if necessary but that doesn't help you.

Thanks mate,
It is stamped 2nd month 02 under the oil cap. The ecu is jecs made. You seem clued up on this stuff, am i pushing s#*t uphill with a pointy stick with
this thing. I am trying to fit it in a T3 auto.
Almost all the harness is terminated at plugs for the engine, i don`t know fuel pump wire, vss? etc. Alot of wires ran into a large white multi pin
plug on rhs. There was no gauge cluster so not sure if this was a plug for that?
Thanks alot for your help.
Cheers, Keith

Big multi pin plug on RHS with a thread in the centre is for the dash wiring.
It'll have acres of unnecessary wiring going to the ecu, especially being auto originally.
If you start stripping it, make sure you keep it all taped together, if it gets to a birds nest state it's practically throw away.
If you get desperate I can do it for you, it's my thing.
