6 inch Rim, how narrow can you go with the tyre ?

Ok, so I have some 6 inch Porsche rims and I want to put some narrow tyres on them...........how narrow can I go, REALISTICALLY ?

I have a 135 Nankang on a 6 inch as a spare, but i dont think i would drive very far with it !!

So maybe a 165 ?

Who has done this and what size do you have !

Cheers

Try plugging you sizes into this, it gives the safe rim widths for a given tyre size.
