I love the spit. went there in my bro's 80's celica with his L plates on, got a few giggles so i put on a show on the sand dunes. Some hotted up
commodores were bogged, we went through alll the thickest of thick stuff with the rear end going out and tires spinning. They luved it lol.
It was all low speed silly bugger stuff just bouncing around in the thick sand along quite a long stretch. Few claps and cheers lol.
But i only learnt by studying Jeff hibbards dune buggy book in the driving tips section lol....
Almost as bad as when i drove my 90's ricer in the thick sandy 4x4 tracks without a prob on straddie to get to the 'key holes' (fresh water lakes).
Boy did those 4x4's give me and my mates wierd stares haha. But we just cruised on by....
(You can tell i'm well over due for my baja...)

69' baja: kombi box, thing spindles, irs, disc front, type 3 rear drums, 2 inch lift kit, 31x10 rears.
New engine in process: 94mm p&bs, 74mm C/w chomol Crank, 35.5x39 SP heads, turbo. Wierd combo, hopeful torque monsta!
