Where to run speaker wires
About to attempt installing a new sound system into my 69 beetle. Just looking briefly i couldn't really see an easy place to run the speaker wires
from the rear of the back seat into the luggage compartment.
As my car doesn't have carpet as yet its pretty easy to run from the rear to the front along the floor until carpet is fitted.
where is the easiest place to run the wires from the front kick panels into the luggage compartment to the dash?

I drilled a hole near the fuel filler which is not noticable when driving and then ran the cables in some corrugated tubing through the hole down the
front kick panel and along the side of the floor pan and then up behind the battery to the speaker box behind the back seat. It will be hidden when I
fit the carpet. This also allowed me to run cables for a reverse camera and the tacho wires. Also was able to tidy up other cables ran by someone
else.
Hope this helps.

mine run along with the stock cable run down the passenger side then split off from there. if you really want you can run them down ether side as
there is a cable run channel ether side.
