Hmmm, interesting choice of body. I wonder what they're going to do with the front end to make it look like a New Beetle? It seems to me like the front would have to be stretched by at least 20 or 30cm, after all they are putting a V8 in there and about a metre of suspension travel!

The general concept reminds me of this Hyundai build. I guarantee you'll be surprised, unless you've already seen it! http://www.hyundaiperformance.com/forums/showroom/82732-hyundai-excel-x3-twis...

Well I can only assume that it's because the Excel is eligible for Sports Sedan, since more than 5000 were sold in Australia, whereas the S13 Silvia isn't. Presumably he didn't feel like lashing out on an S15 200SX shell just to plonk it on a tube frame. Also, the Hyundai has a nice short wheelbase which might be advantageous. And besides, it's hilarious!

Well dare I say it, that Hyundai build aint too bad, as to why, well how many people have had that said to them about thier vw??
As for enough room for the V8....I think it'll be living in the back.......where else??

I just LOVE the fabrication work, those suspension arms are art.
