Scrapers and seals
I need to buy new window scrapers. I need everything exept for the chrome bit on the outside, but i think you buy that aswel.
Im so lost guys, I have no idea what I need to buy.
My body is a 65 I belive, its registered as a 65 so I gather it is.
I need both doors and just the bottom inside and out.
I also need the guides, so the felt runners on both doors aswel. I belive the justgo inplace where the old ones were removed, so thats easy I think,
anyone know??

I changed my upper and rear felt guides on both doors as well as the forward guide. You need to remove the window glass and its carrier from the
regulator to do this. Makes the job a lot easier. Once the window is out, pull out the old guides and put in the new ones.
While the window is out, check your window carrier channel. It could be rusted. Lightly lubricate the window regulator while everything is out of the
door.
If your car is the one as pictured, you won't have screws to worry about to secure the chrome trimming to the door.
Put some contact adhesive on the back of the felt guide to glue to the channel. Be sure to either rub a dry bar of soap in the guide or spray some
silicone in the guide to help with the window movement.
Once the guides are in, refit the window. It will be a tight fit, but it will fit. Hence the soap or silicone spray. Also, the scrapers could do with
a bit of lubrication, otherwise they will grip the window and roll up when you wind the window down.
After a few winds of the window up and down, you should be right.
