Hi, from Adelaide
Hey all, my name's Andy and I'm an Adelaide local. Don't currently have a VW of any description - but am in the market for a Beetle.
Not sure what I need to look for when purchasing a Beetle, (ie where the usual rust spots are, and all those other things we look for in a second hand
car), so found this forum and hoped it might start by pointing me in the right direction, so I can make an informed purchase when I find that VW.

the less rust the better.less bog the better, solid engine, good tranny.will save you heaps of time and money.
Unless of coarse you intend on doing a full restore.in that case,go for it.lol
Welcome and good luck.
