Grafton Hilclimb
This weekend June 13th Grafton Sporting Car Club is hosting round 5 of the NSW Hillclimb at there Mountview Complex just North of Grafton.
I will be competing as well as Glenn Torrens and i,m sure Heath Campbell will be there with his beetle.
Grafton is a great little track, tight and rewards drivers with a well setup car that will stop and turn without the dreaded understeer.
Grafton is without doubt the best spectator track as you can stand in the one stop and watch the hole run of the cars.
See you there.
Cheers Col

Lady bug?,
are you refering to Christine Campbell?.
If so she drove very well.
I don,t have any times of all those that competed, but i think Heath and Christine recorded the times we all ran.
Maybe thay can chime in and share the results.
Cheers Col
PS Heath did break the record, congrats Heath.

Is it the car or Christine you call Lady Bug????????
Results were tight as per normal.........places changed with each run
Heath - 51.10 .........lowered Christines record by 0.21..........8 class records were broken on the day
Christine - 51.63
Steve(escort) - 52.10
Col - 52.??
Peter Gumley - 43.03 only 0.01 slower than his own record. On this run he put a rod through the block 20m short of the finish........he would have
lowered the record for sure with all cyclinders pushing him across the line.
An great social weekend, always a good event.
Col - I saw you Mum active with the camera again............do you have any good footage to post?
