Just cancelled the rego, and got most of the money back as I only renewed it at the start of this month, and still hadn't put the new lable on.

It was classed as "Laid up" rather than "write off", so as to make it easier for some else to register.

Guess I'll have alter my signature now.

My advice from the Volksfactory was that to make this economically viable, most of the work would have to be done at $10 per hour, or by myself.

This is apart from the renovations which were necessary before the fire. Unfortunately, it's beyond my means.

A Pulsar N13 is looking good. Eight years younger than a Mk 1 Golf, with air, radio/cassette & cig lighter to run the esky/cooler.....all for around the same price, it may have to do until I can afford a MK 3/4 Golf auto.

Dietrich the Green T4 is almost complete so maybe my Bank will stop rubbing its hands together every time they see my statement.
