planssssssss.....well
i wnat it to be a great little summer car...i want it to be low and im looking round for a nice set of 15 / 16 inch wheels something classy...maybe a
nice 5 spoke wheel although wil probably require hub/ stud changes..i intend on doing the interior either tobacco or red leather...making it a bit
more modern and comfortable bu defiently keeping it classy..billet steering wheel , pedals, etc etc.... update the sound system a bit probably keep
that all hidden though...as far as performance goes to be honest ive always had modern turbo cars so i guess to start i want to make it reliable
before i start tinkering...i guess hte look im going for would be hot rod/ street machine but alot smaller....to all that are worried i am going to
butcher this car i pleade with you not to worry...i imagine i will need your advice and oppionions throughout the build so you can stop me doing
anyhting too crazy!!! i really appreciate your help guys you seem like a great bunch of dudes..so yeah thats the genereal way im heading i guess!!! oh
p.s does anyone know if u can buy clear front indicator lenses in aus still i tried ISPWEST in the states and they r out of stock

Leave it OG and just lower it and put some rims on it. If the seats are good under those covers leave them as is. Once you change that lovely OG stuff
out, you may regret it later.

Squizzy you make a good point with the interior!! unfortunetly under hte covers....not so good....maybe i should repair the origionals and buy a
second set to modify?? my trimmer could up door cards easily enough besides that most stuff would be returnable to stock i guess...are there many type
3 seats floating around??? more food for thought thanks again guys ive never been on a forum quite like this!!! very refreshing!!!
cheers, james

The wheels with the best offset for a lowered type3 are the 914 2-Litre wheels or the Burners.

I would think cip 1 914 2-litre wheels are 35mm offset but I'd check before I purchased them. I think all PORSCHE 914-4 5.5inch wheels are 35mm
offset and are good for Type3. Remember a standard Type3 wheel is 46mm offset so you must be careful of the offset of an after market wheel for a
type3.
