Transporting cars
Hey guys anyone have any recomemdations or ideas of getting a car from just south of Melbourne up to Sydney... Transporter , one way trailer hire?? I
can drive down to get it but it has no rego or woul it be cheaper to get it
trucked ?? Any advice would be greattt!!! Cheers guys

u could if it's reasonably r/worthy and reliable get a permit
this includes getting compulsory third party insurance so may be $40 plus $ a day
check on mtr transp websites of rel. states
want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!

The safest way would be to get it trucked. A tow to the truck depot, plus trucking, plus tow from Sydney depot to your house, you may end up paying
$500. The safest way to do it.

Yep.. I just did it from Adelaide to Sydney for an unregistered but drivable 57 Beetle.

i called up http://www.Compare-Quotes.com.au and got my squareback from melb
to syd for $586 door to door. i think the company was called Door to door car carrying.

Also, if its a car you plan to register soon and start driving, I would suggest getting Full comprehensive insurance on it starting from before the
journey to you, I got mine from Shannons and they said I'd be covered for the journey on the truck from SA to NSW. The transports have limitations
on vehicle insurance especially if its over a certain age.
No i'm not repainting it.
