id speak to an engineer first and find out what requirements you will need for a system as per the laws in your state.

Lee is on it, i've done a fair bit of research into this, and no one makes an off the shelf kit in the world to bag a Type 3, its definitely doable, but prepared for a lot of cutting, welding, and money being spent....

Not neccesarily!
Spoke to a guy I know today, his mate will look into it for you and see if its a doable option for him.
He does it in his spare time and is very quick apparently, and cluey. He does all the rice burner crowd cars. Doesnt charge the earth either.
Only problem is that he is based in Normanville.
Will get back to ya when I hear something end of next week probably.I'm heading away for work

hey mate i done heaps of research on air bag suspension for type 3s as im currently in the proccess of doing my

DONT BUY OFF AIR KEWLD
as they run a AIR CYCLINDER up front and is slow as ..
the best way to set it up is
On a TRI- BAG set up
one bag on the front beam
2 bag on the rear + if you have an IRS set up even better you ll get alot more camber in the rear
but yeah all my work is being done by a friend of my who is an engineer by trade.
where are you located?

http://www.mexsgarage.com
he can supply you an all the air gear but if your not in Qld you ll have to find someone closer to you to do the work

You gonna need:
3 air bags
bag plates
New drop spindles
Compressor and air tank, wiring kit + gauges and shit like that..
theirs a fair bit of work invovled

The Rear setup

The front beam:

Oztype3, that airbag setup is very impressive, especially the way in which you've done the front beam!

yeah well i had spoke to a my mate (the engineer) and i showed him the air kewld kit
and he was against running the cyclinders , so i did some researc and found this setup
works alot more faster and safer..
plus the way it sits out from the beam give plenty of clearance from the fuel tank.

but yeah feel free to take the info an show your engineer or who ever is gonna do the work..
and get dirty
Body is off at the moment and i fly away for work soon so no work will be done until i get back..
