got my fuel gauge face done by bendigo graphics.
Picked it up and started work on the gauge when i got home.

results speak for its self.

Great job!

Last time mine fuel guage cluster was out I also cut the wire that conenects the two green indicator lamps and rewired them to be directional rather than both flash at once. I don't know why this wasn't done ex-factory really.

yeah thats done also, and I just bored out the back light socket and retro fitted a larger socket to accept 4W lamp so the back light is the same brightness
on all gauges. The stock type 3 gauges are very dim

can't yet. still waiting to the bezel on the tacho to be rechromed along with some other stuff.
will be January at the earliest.

when its ready i will stick em in the dash for a pic, then off into a box for storage as the car gets pulled apart slowly and restored part for part.

entirely depends on the condition of them and how much you are willing to spend.

I am a perfectionist when it comes to things like this.:smilegrin:

Lets just put it this way. The amount of cash, time and effort I put into my own gauges, I would gladly reject
an offer for a grand:yes: I may take 2k ??

Great job. Best looking modified gauges I have seen for a German look late model Type3. I'd have those in my 70 in a second.
