SOLD Restored 1989 T3 Transporter
Hi everyone, up for sale is my 1989 T3 Transporter - I have just given it a full respray in PPG Deltron base coat in its original colour L90D
Pastelweiss then clear coat including inside all doors, door jambs etc. There was very little rust to begin with and the bus was very straight and
solid which is why I bought it in the first place.
It was going to be my daily driver but I then picked up a sweet original paint lowlight that I couldn't pass up, hence why I have finished this bus
just to recoup some of my cost/time.
Full gallery of all work conducted can be found here:

The 2.1 fuel injected water cooled motor runs extremely well and is very smooth, brakes work perfectly and suspension is tight and functionally
adequate. The interior headliner has been just retrimmed and new front door cards as they were mismatched to the Caravelle rear interior panels -
obviously they are not a perfect match but look neat and tidy. The rear seat is a Caravelle unit - the upholstery is not ripped at all but was quite
stained (previous owner must have carried engine parts on it!) and rear seats are just grey vinyl, hence new seat covers have been installed just to
give some consistency. I'm happy to do a full retrim on the vehicle for a potential buyer, and then adjust the sale price accordingly if so desired
- I've priced the vehicle to reflect this already.
The bullbar is alloy but painted in black two pack base/clear as are door handles and the new bumpers. The wheels have been sandblasted and painted in
charcoal metallic base/clear - fronts are standard but rears have been widened 1 inch approximately. Tyres are brand new Maxxis 185 x 14 up front and
195 x 14 rears.
Thats about all I can remember at the moment, happy to answer any other questions if need be.
Thanks
Al
