I ordered parts from them and filled this form out. I've had no problems. They do this to prevent overseas credit card fraud. You do this one and
then you won't have to do it again. Or you can pay with Paypal and avoid any of this.

Yes I've has to do this for major U.S retailers in the past. Instead of fax I emailed them a scan, some have even wanted a photo/scan of the card
itself to prove I actually have possession of it. Seems a bit over the top, but some places are extra cautious after being scammed.

They did the same to me so I told them to cancel the order. They backed down and sent the parts.
What they are asking you to do is exactly what the banks tell you not to do. Therefore if something goes wrong the bank will abandon you and any claim
you may have because you have provided those details willingly. Send them a cheque!

Fax is the safest form of credit card form, assuming the receiver is known.
You should never ever put your credit card details into an online form unless it is to a site that has https:// at the start of the address. the 's'
signifies it is a secure connection
Or just pay cash

Easiest way is to join up with PayPal...
You only give Paypal Your credit card details or bank details once
then order from just about anywhere in the world using Paypal
its excellent... I wouldn't use anything else...
My Son was ordering parts from the US , not sure who with,
but they wanted a photo of Him holding the credit card..
Paypal stops all this rubbish...
but remember that credit card transactions in Australia are different to the USA..
You can use a credit card just about anywhere in Australia and once the transaction goes thru..
they know they have their money...
it must be different in the USA...
They seem to hate credit cards.. especially overseas...
so, a Credit card transaction in the USA must be able to be stopped easily??? so, they don't know if they have the money or not.. PayPal stops all
that...
I recommend Paypal.... I've been using it for about 8 years..
maybe longer..
cheers
LEE
PS: Years ago I found some excellent parts in the USA...
BUT they were NOT interested in selling outside the USA..
what about clutch or accelerator cables guaranteed for life..
that was one place I remember... Lee

I had to provide all the details recently to CB Performance. I consider myself to be reasonably savvy on these things so I complied.
But about 2 weeks ago my credit card got 'probed' by 2 unauthorised people, as they withdrew 1 cent each. The credit card company called me
straight away and we shut it down before they went for the big sting.
Under no circumstances am I linking that to CB Performance as I have been fairly busy buying in the US, Germany, and around Australia. But its
disturbing to hear a bunch of VW people all being hit at the same time...
Has an Australian VW parts supplier been hacked ???

Credit card fraud is massive in the states. CIP1 as well as other suppliers do this with alot of customers who place orders worth a bit. When we were
over there, everytime we paid with our credit card we also had to present our drivers licence as proof of identity.
