Fitted the rear wheel bearings and brakes along with the front spindles .
Set the shims up off the shim chart and was amazed at how much positive camber are built into the CB drops spindles ,Need to run them for maximum neg to get them straight in turn losing link pin adj
2 pac on the front discs and new bearings and seals while i was at it i stripped and painted the front and rear shocks and pitman arm cut and re tapped tie rods and painted them all in 2 pac .
http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t9/captianvw/photo3-24.jpg

Had some 6 mm billet spacers made for the rear due to the hand built Ghia body being a little to close on the right hand side

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t9/captianvw/photo2-28.jpg
Something more fulfilling bolting the front end in with factory bolts and using rebuilt OG steering box 8)

http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t9/captianvw/photo5-17.jpg

Wheels fit nice under the body stand tucked away safe and sound will be working through until Valla so wont have much shed time ..

Wet sanded tank ,handbrake ,Vintage speed shifter and gave it all a good polish was going to clear it buy like the look of it now shiny but not much, reminds me O.G. enamel

Headlight rings and a few other pieces are at Hamilton chrome 8)
Waiting on some goodies to arrive :P thought i'd try my hand at buffing ,after rubbing through the tank twice and having to paint it 3 times i am finally happy with the finish!

Great build.
I'm keen to see how the vintage speed exhausts looks. I've been looking to change my exhaust for one.
Thanks for the photos.

I'm pleased to have provided some motivation - it is great to see quality builds underway.

The blue Ghia turn 20 next year.

This car was my motivation back then, it took Mike and I four years to finish.
