We'll guys, the sad day is upon me when unfortunatley need to sell my baja.... I have many great memories with this car and it will be a horrible day when it goes.

Details are as follows:

1963 baja

body off floorpan re-build only 6-8 months ago

Current set up is K&L front with custom vee dub coil overs and brackets and john sherman disc brake conversion

Rear end is IRS with 1600 kombi gearbox, strapped to the frame horns, with coilovers to keep the traction in the sand. The gearbox has a bit of a whine but is still strong and doesn't leak oil.

2" body lift constructed with galvanised RHS

The whole floorpan and all components were then sprayed with 2 pac gloss black.

Everything inside the car has been raised to compensate for the 2" body lift

I re-trimmed the seats approximatley 4 years ago and they still look fresh, also did a quick marine carpet job on the inside just after the re-build.

Paint is 2pac ford blue mica, was perfect when i got it but with use it is starting to show its age a little,Some very minor rust just starting to poke its little head through but nothing major, Looks fantastic but could use a buff and a few touch ups... this is not a show car and i do use it.

15" rims all round, 7" rear 6" front. rear tyres are bridgestone desert deulers 31x10.5, front are yokohama geolanders 215x75 overall it gives it a nice stance.

engine is a 1916cc with twin kadrons, engle 100cam, scat solid rockers, chromoly pushrods and scat heavy duty valve springs, vented tappet covers into a custom made breather box, Kennedy stage 1 clutch kit. Results on dyno at leons motors was 64hp with the big wheels on so at a guess it would probably be 68-70hp with stock wheels.
Since fitting the kadrons back in 2007 i think it was the car has never let me down.

The car also had a full re-wire when i re-built it so everything works and works well! we also put all the wires that go to the engine in to a plug so once the engine cage is off, the engine is out in well under 5 mins.

As i said there is alot of great memories with this car, including beach trips, bush trips, and i also won my class drag racing it at warwick in 2009 with a 10.33 @ 63mph.

there is also some spotlights i will put back on too.

Genuine reason for sale, i have a mini me on the way and need a car thats not noisy, quick and heaps of fun!

Will be selling un registerd but will consider selling registered with roadworthy for the right buyer, currently has about 6 months rego left.

I think a fair price for this car is $6500 as you couldn't build it for anywhere near that.
