A question re Early T3 Trakka conversions
Is there anyone out there who has an early (e.g. 1984) Trakka conversion? I am in a fix and cannot remember where the two interior flouro lights of
the conversion connect. I know it is to the vehicle battery, but over the past 26 years I have forgotten and it is rather difficult for me at present
to track them back. I have 0V at the lights.)
Any suggestions please folks?
Thanks

The general practice is to run a feed from the battery (or better still, the second 'camper' battery) to a central power distribution board. This
will have a bank of fuses. Then the accessories are powered from there.
Not sure where on your camper this might be. Newer ones have the board in a prominent place, but earlier ones might have been hidden away somewhere,
under the sink perhaps or in a cupboard.
Trakka is still in business (they are one of the VW Nationals sponsors this year, in fact) - you could give them a call and someone there might be
able to give more specific advice.

I would follow Phils advice.
Trakka did some strange and unique things to individual vehicles. They are not know for there good auto electrics.

VERY belated thanks folks. I worked out my issues, but the initial wiring wasn't very fancy!
