12V Wiper Wiring

Hey all.

I'm installing a 12V wiper motor into my car.

I just need a few pointers on which wiring goes to where.

The wiper motor has five posts on it. I'm fairly sure the one on the far left is the earth, but I have no idea what the others are for.

On the back of the switch there are 6 posts. Which are labeled as follows, clockwise from the top left.

31
31b
30
53b
53
53a

Can anyone advise what wires go where?

Thanks

Must be an aftermarket wiper motor.
OG ones have the corresponding terminals from the switch.

Connections on the switch are:

30 - 12volt power from fuse box
53 - Low speed
53b - High speed
31b - park wire
31 is usually not connected but it's just an earth.

Ok cool.

What about 53a?
I just noticed that I put two 53b's in the post above. Have just corrected.
