sidewinder exhaust with heater connection

Hey everyone,
I hope someone can help with a quick query . . .
I need to plug the T piece heater tubes on my exhaust as I won’t be using them due to lack of space. I didn’t have much room to work with and had to cut some of the flange off to install the exhaust so it’s not as simple as buying a backing plate

Any ideas how to plug this hole? Could I tap a thread? Muffler silicon and a “cap” of sorts?
Thanks for any help
