1975 L Bug
Originally purchased for my father-in-law purely as a run-about with intention of full restoration down the track. Other projects have taken
precedence and the car is now sitting unused.
When purchased the following work was done;
Stripped engine bay, cleaned up and repainted. 1600cc engine was refurbished with new barrel kit, twin carbies, new clutch and chrome tinware.
Both front sections of the pan were rusty and new ones welded in place. Door cards have been replaced. Seats are original and in good condition for
age.
No oil leaks.
New fuel tank sender and all rear windows got new cal look rubbers.
the car structurally is great, no rust other than a few tiny bubbles on bonnet and along gutter - nothing major. paint work will need a buff as it has
oxidised in places. rear A pillers (where they commonly rust) is literally perfect !
Interior is ok (no carpet) - few small tears in hood lining. Front bumper has some surface rust. Dash is in excellent condition with only a minor
split.
whats supplied with car;
With the sale i will include the black and white personalised plates for the price of $3900. rego has just been renewed. Price is negotiable if the
new owner wishes not to opt for the plates or rego.
can also supply a new hoodlining and a set of spare wheels (star mags) with the deal if interested.
The car is in my father-in-law's name and i am selling on his behalf.
