I have a 1972 Superbug and have been told by 3 different people, 3 different types of petrol to use ... Lead Replacement, Unleaded and Premium
Unleaded ... can someone please clarify this for me .. ?? |

UNLEADED
All VW's since 1967 have hardened valve seats and do not need lubrication
Premium is only needed if your compression ratio is above say 8:1
Stock was 7:1 or there abouts.
Lead Replacement is for cars with cast iron heads.
