how not to scrape my exhaust on the ground!
Hi there dub peeps,
im a newbee to this forum so forgive me if this has been addressed before.
i am currently trying to get my '66 bug on the road and have purchased a Empi tuck away system for it.
everything was going well till i put the "tuck away section on and it is pushing itself out of the wheel well and onto the ground.
i was wondering if anyone has put a similar system on and encountered a issue like this and what did you do to counter it? what is the best way to fix
it to the car as well, seeing as i cant get it to the right position its a bit hard to see where it actually bolts on.
i can supply photos of it if it helps but it just looks like it is dragging ** on the ground. 
any help or a point in the right direction is most welcome,

did u bolt it to the header only or did u also use the support bar on the back of the muffler?
there should have been provided a flat bar that you attach to the exhaust flange of #1. You then connect the support bar to that which should bring it
all up.
I put a jack under the muffler while i loosely do the 3 bolts up connecting to the header, then put the bolt together to the supporting bar, then
finalise the muffler position and tighten it all up

As lauzboy said. There is a strap front and rear on muffler, with mine I had to make two small extensions one to bolt on to exhaust stud and the other
I bolted to the clamp that goes on the slip fitting between heater box and headers. Then I also added a rubber strap near the end of the tail pipe to
body to reduce the shaking at idle. They are very nasty to get everything fitted under there.

Thanks guys,
it looked as though it would bolt up to the flange but i tightened up the 3 bolts first and as my j pipes are still in transit (heater boxes where
cactus as was one j pipe) i couldn't see if it had to bolt to the rear section of the body.
ill loosen it all up and give it a go tomorrow.
