[FS - NSW] 1967 Zenith Blue Beetle $6250 - SOLD!

Here for sale is my treasured VW beetle. I bought this car from the original owner in Canberra around 2 years ago, it is rust free and 100% reliable. I am only selling as i have just purchased a 356A and do not have the space to store it.
Very original car, starts up on the button and is ultra reliable. The engine is very strong and the gearbox is very smooth and has no knotches or dodgy clunking. The king and link pins were rebuilt last year and the car has just had a full service. It comes with a very complete history file including the original owners fuel book. I had new rear tyres about a year ago and have done minimal miles since. All tyres had new white walls at the same time also.
The car is still 6 volt and I have have all the electrics serviced recently and a new deep cycle battery installed.
The body was resprayed in 2 pack late last year by Detroit Custom Bodyworks in the original colour Zenith Blue. We installed new stainless bumpers, new window rubbers and trim, trunk seal and indicator seals. The interior body panels were not resprayed so have small nicks & scratches but could be touched up if required.
The interior is in very good condition and was replaced with a Bus n Bug seat and carpet set, the head lining could do with being replaced as it has a tear but it is original. The car comes with the roofrack.

The car has just under 12 months registration remaining, please come and view, you will not be disappointed!!

Any questions please call Kevin on 0409 767 048. The car is located in Erskineville (2043) and will be available for inspection this weekend.

$6250 ono

Cheers Guys, I really didn't want to have to sell it but garage space is at a premium.

I'm not a master of body language but I'm pretty sure the wife was less than pleased to see what would be replacing it....

This one came from California - excellent mechanicals and very rust free, just looks like it was hit with the ugly stick. Hard.

If I can get it back to looking like this she might come around...

Yep, that's the happy wife!

The weekend is fine for an inspection, I am trying to do them all on Saturday morning if possible, just give me call and I'll let you know all the details.

Cheers,
Kevin

As requested here are the additional pics of the pan, please excuse the water drops, it's been a damp ol' day in Sydney and also the boot.

Cheers,
Kevin

The photo of the wife says it all, she doesn't need to say a word

And there looks like plenty of space in that shed.

Congrats on selling and good luck to the new owner, it looks like a sweet ride.

Kev

P.S. I wish I had more space, because then I would have more cars. And my wife would probably look like yours

I thought rebuilding a VW would be cheap - Shit I was wrong, just don't let the wife know !!!!

Best of luck with the car, the twit was very confused seeing his transport driving away.

If you need a hand with anything, please feel free to give me a bell.

All the best,
Kevin
