Wanted to buy, borrow or rent a portable stud welder


Where do I find them in Aus? I can get them from the US for anywhere between $250 and $500 but shipping will cost a bit and most likely will be 110v

We have a Spitznagel at work. It will zap on studs, wire and rivet heads for body mouldings to clip onto.

I purchased my Uni-Spotter from our panel beater supplier (Harts) up here in QLD. I'm a bit far away to loan it to you unfortunately but if you try and find out what firms supply body shops with consumables/equipment, they should be able to source them for you. I think I paid between $400-500.

Dasdubber, I found Stork in Melb but they have a unit for $960 which is twice what I want to pay. I am probably going to use it for a week and that's it
Still looking. Might have to get it from Qld and get it shipped
