goo OR no goo


push rod seals

do you use any sealer or just let the seal do the work.

no goo for me on the good quality silicone based seal, but polish the case and head receiving area too.

when yo say polish do you mean make sure that the seats are clean and smooth or do you mean polish, like with wet and dry.

superclean and polish with scourer, but wet and dry would be fine.

I clean it right out and then put a nice film of goo on it just for piece of mind and no leaks I am happy.

no sealant on the pushrod tube seals, just prep the sealing area as above, never had a leak.
