Not VW, tax deductable art.
As some of you may have read on a previous post I was intending to tag along on jeffswalk2 to raise funds for Nets, (newborn emergency transport
services), well as it turned out I overestimated my fitness and after just 600km I came up lame and am now home having treatment to see if I can
repair minor muscle damage to my leg and hopefully rejoin the walk in a few weeks or so. I managed to get from Glen Innes to Bourke before I had to
pull out but all was not lost, I was lucky enough for some lovely people who are the owners of an art gallery in Bourke to give me a bed for a few
days till I could arrange transport back to Newcastle, Jenny, the artist who owns the gallery does some of the most amazing art of the outback that it
has ever been my pleasure to see, so good that before I left I purchased two paintings that she had done (both limited edition reproductions, I
couldn't stretch to the originals), when I left Jenny gave me a reproduction of one of her paintings, as it happens I have not the room to
hang this one in my humble abode and so I am offering it to the first person who donates directly to the jeffs walk2 Nets appeal the grand sum
of just $130. when that has been registered on the donations page and you have advised me that it is there I will post the painting at cost to the
lucky person who gets in first. TO MAKE IT CLEAR, WHILE THE PICTURE HAS BEEN SIGNED BY THE ARTIST IT IS NOT ONE OF THE LIMITED EDITION REPRODUCTIONS
AS JENNY FEELS THE COLOURS ARE NOT QUITE RIGHT COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL, ALTHOUGH I AM STRETCHED TO SEE THE DIFFERENCE) the picture is titled North
Bourke Bridge and can be seen here..............
it is the 71x30cm size and will be posted by Australia Post in a proper postage tube.
The ones I purchased are Early Morning Stroll (large size) and Raw Country Energy (small size) and I am realy blown away with them, thanks Jenny.
To secure this wonderfull piece of art simply go to the following and make your donation, you will get a receipt and that will make your purchase tax
deductable so it won't cost you $130 after all, can't get a better deal than that for this amazing piece of art.
Thanks
Don
