[WTB - NSW] Help a Brother out - Pre '67 Bug Wanted

Hey guys,

So I've finally managed to land myself a job and I've got the time/money now to get into another VW!

I had a '76 but had an accident, which threw out all plans for my engine install, so I'm starting again from scratch.

Basically what I'm after is a pre '67 Bug!

Yes, I'm picky but I figured it would help narrow it down...
I'm looking for:
- Little to no rust (don't mind a bit of rat, just not too much chassis killer stuff)

- The car to be running (I'd love to drive it home, but when in doubt, trailer it out)

- Something that isn't going to be a headache (I know these 40+ year old cars have their niggles, but I'd love something that isn't going to plauge my wallet [which isn't all that large])

- Something with a bit of character.

- And if possible, some rego (but if not, one that can pass a blue slip)

If anyone on here has a bug looking to sell or one that they're not using, I would love take it off your hands!

I'll treat it well, I promise!

I don't have the biggest budget in the world, but any offers are much appreciated.

Cheers guys,

Ollie

love that one- only problem might be the narrowed beam for nsw rego. Is there any hiding around Sydney?!

Ollie,

you would only need a blue slip up here and I don't think many places would pick up on the narrowed beam, maybe just the height (lowered).

Good luck with your search, Kev.

I thought rebuilding a VW would be cheap - Shit I was wrong, just don't let the wife know !!!!
