Leyburn 2011 - Aug 27 & 28
Okay I have the green light to get Herb out of the shed and do a few laps around Leyburn for the Historic Sprints- I have missed the last couple due
to family commitments ie- birth of child but a small window has opened up before the next bub arrives in October.
Anyone else coming ? Sides ?
It hasnt been started in over a year so will probably have to give it a wash, heck might even drain the fuel.
Am looking forward to it.

Pretty sure the club's Drag Fasty is entered also, and possibly Wally with his track Herbie... Volksy's may equal the Miini's for once !!!

Yeah, Wally Penboss who runs the drag car 'Bugger'... the maroon and silver one that wheelstands like nothing else... well he has another car
that's more track oriented. Altho it's a 70's bug he's got it in Herbie livery, and he's had a few outings with it... Bug In at Stanthorpe last
year, plus also Top Gear Live in Brissie couple months back.
He was talkin about entering, but not sure whether he has or not.... have to chase him up and see !!!
(btw - jetlag sucks... I soooooo should be asleep right now...  )

Well apparently Leyburn is on the same weekend as Jambo, so Wally is going playing drag racing instead.

I hadnt sent the entry off yet as I thought I had a few days and I just checked their website and first round doesnt close till the 15th July and then
final entries by the 28th - so unless they havent updated the website I should be okay. Of course if they have too many entrants I may be in
trouble..
I will enter online tomorrow and see how that goes.
