generally speaking, it's 25mm wider over standard as the max allowable wheel width, for a post ADR car ('71). Pre ADR's you can do as you please pretty much.

check on the DMT or RTA web site for actual details and figures....


Oh and BTW, the guy that invented the original bananaman is my mate's old man, who lives in NSW now!:D

I think you'll find the regs on tyre & track sizes apply to any year car - I know they do in NSW, Vic & WA (My boss also had to get reversing lights fitted to the '69 he's getting done up for his wife's birthday!)
