Emergency switch bug 1967 + reverse light
I'm restoring an early 1967 beetle.
In the dashboard there are 2 holes:
1 for the light switch and 1 for the wipers.
does the 1967 model had an emergency switch if no do i need one?

Nope and nope - 67's didn't have a reversing light, and so you don't need one for rego.
Reversing lights didn't come in until 71.
My 70 didn't have them either, but have had to explain all of this every time it's had a roadworthy done...

I have the 1968 lights but with the reverse section on the bottom and so I have them tested every year.. lol
if they didn't work I would have to take them off at rego time..
MY hazard lights only work when the doors are opened..
something to do with My alarm...
the hazard switch isn't connected to My blinkers at present..
but it does flash on & off when the switch is pulled on... lol
cheers

PS most mechanics these days know little of past laws etc for older cars... so if You add anything.. make sure it works.. lol
