Kafer bar vs Cranky kit
Has anyone out there got a Kafer bar in their bug with a Cranky subi starter kit?
Or even just a cranky kit fitted to get an overall measurement of the starter motor from?
Just trying to find out if they clear each other before I take the plunge as my Semi-auto starter only just clears, I had to cut the B+ terminal abit
shorter.
Cheers.

I've got a cranky kit and a kafer bar on Jezebel - clears just fine.
It's not one of Craigy's setups tho - the one I have the main bar sits a bit further forward, in a direct line side to side from the top shock
bolts.

Cheers guys, mainly just looking for a rough overall measurement of the whole thing from the mounting flange where it bolts up to the bellhousing to
the end of the housing.
I'm fairly confident looking at pics it will fit fine.
Heres the Semi-auto starter and how close it is to the the kafer bar.
Sorry bout the shitty pic
It's roughly the same length as the stock starter just the B+ bolt on it was unusually long and hit the bar.
