My engine

I bought a 1600 second hand, running compression of 145 in each cylinder. Better than stock. Does this mean it was reconditioned recently? Its got a solex 30 pict 2, cost me 1000 dude. Dunno how that is price was, but that was including removal of my old engine, and replacing with new engine!
Good luck!

There are 2 things that would determine the value here

1) Manifold.
IF the heat risers are not rusted out AND the passage is clean

2)Carb
What sort? 34, 30??
IF the spindle bushing is tight and not leaking fuel or leaking air

IF both of the above check ok i would say $100 is fair.
