I thought I'd better do this to save a bit of confusion.
Those who think I have left to protest about the lack of nude pics are dead wrong.
It is a matter of principle.
For a long time, WE, THE MEMBERS ,have decided what was good & bad for OUR forum.
There have been ideas put foward, good ones have stayed, not so good have been dropped, & there has been both.
Now, a part of that decision making has been removed.
Would any you have been quite so quick to put your hand up to change the server if you had known that terms would be dictated to us, instead of
discussed by us?
The pics going is just the catalyst. The crux of the matter is we are now being TOLD, not ASKED how the forum will be.
If you tolerate this, you will have no right to complain WHEN it happens again.
Yes, I have knocked back being a moderator several times. Mainly because you are as entitled to your opinion as I am to mine, therefore I would never
have deleted or amended a post regardless of content. That of course would be a failure as a moderator. Not to mention I have enjoyed most of the
sh!tfights we've had.
At the other end of the scale you have Vanderaj.
Here is a man who doesn't comment until he has backup. That's lack of commitment.
Tells you he hasn't had time to reply to the thread, when I can show you 7 of his posts, posted after he was made aware of the main page thread,
some relating to the other thread. That's lying.
Gets upset when I write $#%@(or something like that) but calls the rest of us "moaning fish wives" ( pic of the week -split kombi).
That's hypocrisy.
Thiis is the caliber of moderator that has got in.
(That's not a shot at the rest of you guys & gals. The Spook still loves ya)
I will still look in to see what's happening, but I will take no active part until some sort of sanity is restored.

I think I have tried to say enough on this topic, but here I go again.
We can not discuss what can not be changed. Simple. I will agree that the way in which the law was put across may have lead to all this confussion and
that has been adressed.
If you want I can run a poll on Nudity and wheather is shoudl be allowed or not, but the outcome would be irrelevant.
If you call enforcing the law censorship then you must hate speed signs.
C'mon guys lets get back to Dubbin..... |

That you have missed the point Brad, I must say, disapoints me.
Interesting analogy though.
A law must be proved broken before it can be enforced.
If a speed limit is 110, you can do up to 110.
This is the first time I've seen someone park the car to be on the safe side.
But I think you've wrapped it up on your own post in the pic section.
My butt gets kicked.......my server.
This is the first time I've heard the word "MY" used on this forum that didn't relate to a car.
That says it all, it's now your forum with your rules.
Then to add insult to injury, it's signed off as Admin.
You didn't even put your name to it.

What don't we just put a lid on the issue & move on. Its trivial. Nudity or not, who cares. Yes, as a member I would like to be consulted
about major issues not trivial ones. I am just happy being here discussing VWs, buying & selling stuff, giving & getting advice. Cheer up

Most of you are missing the point.
This forum was not started so that some people would be able to dictate what others can or cant do, be that post certain things or talk about certain
things. the idea of a forum is that everyone has a differant opinion.
But know we have the minority dictating to the majority, and as this is now the case i will be joining Spook and The Bronze and no doubt a number of
others, Jim you have our e-mails if you manage to sort this out.
