Has anyone any information on electric fan heaters. I am looking for something to use as a demister in my beetle. Thanks Gordon

back in the 50s and early 60s the most common demister was held onto the windscreen by two suction cups..
one each end and a coil that heated up...

May be a bit hard to find these days...

other than that... a 12 volt hair dryer stuck into the demister vent under the bonnet should work OK...

I read that WD40 sprayed onto the inside glass and wiped over will stop the windscreen from fogging up...

two pairs of sox and a hot water bottle may also help the driver

i remember those demisters. have'nt seen em for years. you can get anti fog spray for motorcycle helmets that might work.

Run the stock heaters seems to be the only comprimise available
