wiring
does anyone know if there is replacement wiring harness available for a 68 beetle. mine looks like its been modified once too often, and the engine
bay wires have been a bit hot. Thanks Gordon

The replacement kits that are any good cost two arms and both legs, you might be able to slavage a secondhand one out of a wrecked beetle, or just
replace the sections that are worst.
If you get the chance to simpllfy the wiring diagrams there really isnt that much to them. I would replace the engine bay wiring from memory it all
comes out the passenger channel in the top right.
Then under the dash bonnet, once you work out what goes where off the fuse box, all will make a lot more sense. Look at some of the buggy wiring
images as they are the bare bones and the more you look at them the more they make sense. Do you have and wiring diagram experience as some of the
symbols may need a little explainig.

Hi Gordon
cheapest way is to make some yourself..
I made mine from 2 x 7 core trailer cables about 10 meters longe
and 5 coer cables to tail and headlamps
its not rocket science ... lol
Do You know anything about electrics??
and if You can follow circiut diagrams...
