Bathurst 2011 in a Dormobile

Went away with Matt Berry and my neighbour Brett to Bathurst.
What an awesome weekend. Here are some pics.

Little bit more info and story to add to the pics.
My neighbour and good mate is a regional manager for a motor parts company.
We decided that Bathurst was a must do so organised a campsite on the Chase and he sourced some tickets.
Left on Wednesday around 5.30pm after Mr Berry decided to turn up
Drove all night to Bathurst (from Springfield, Brisbane) to arrive at 8am on Thursday morning.
The 71 Dormobile (my wife's camper) is a little 1641cc with twin 36mm Dellortos and 043 heads.
Sat on a comfortable 70MPH going down the nice and flat Newell Highway.
Got to see some really interesting stuff (not the promo girls) in Darren Morgan's trailer thanks to my neighbour.
Craziest pressure plate I have seen lately.
Racing was good, partying wasn't half bad either, might go again next year.
Got to sleep in the top bunks of the Dormobile for the first time on the trip home. Comfortable sleep actually.

hi Marcus. you know you've been there when you go with Brett!!!

he is the biggest scammer ever. I am guessing he was out getting autograghs as usual as well.

put your head over the fence and tell him I am still holding his bar mirrors from nambour swap......

And tell him I want to know how come I didn't get invited????
