Powdercoating wheels in sydney


Hey Guys any tips or advice for powder coaters in Sydney .. I'm doing the wheels on my type 3 has anyone had experience with this.. What condition do I need to present them in and how much should I expect to pay!?? Thanks guys!!!

MR Clean in Padstow do blasting and powder coating. Blasting per wheel $35, Blast + powder coat was $55 (This was about 2 years ago so prices may have changed).
They are located in Gow St in Padstow, 2 minute drive from M5 fairford rd exit.

Wish I knew one in Campbelltown though ...

Condition wise, doesn't matter if blasting. The wheels had terrible surface rust and about 5 layers of paint. Really it would have been a PITA to clean up by hand, that's how bad they were.




Thats not rust, it's ah ... orange primer ... yep that's what it is ...

well found out that the guy we use for work wants about $160 a rim ,thats blasted ,primed and 2 coats of powder coating ,or if your rim is clean enough(sanded back and smooth) about $70 a rim for just one coat of powder coating
