65 beetle headliner question

How does the headliner of a 65 beetle attach above the front windscreen?
The headliner goes behind a panel that the sunvisors are attached to
I wanna know if behind that panel if it is held by the windscreen seal or not? I'd don't wanna pull the windscreen out if I don't have to!
Cheers lads

there will probably be a cardboard strip sewn onto the front of the headliner that hooks onto a lip inside that panel, so unless you can actually see the headliner going under the window rubber, no you don't need to take the windscreen out.
