What Brand, Electronic conversion for 009

Hi there, I have a Pobjoy built 2007 in my 71 Super and am interested in converting my 009 distributor to electronic. What brand conversion is best to use. I have been advised that some have been known to stop the car while travelling. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

While I agree that for the most electronic ignition is better than points, I dont believe the Pertronix, Compufire, Empi drop in points are woth it

I would spend more and get a better system.

I have a Scorcher distributor system

It has served me well for about 4 years

My distributor shaft, points cam and bearings were all completely worn out so I bought a complete Pertronix "Fireball" distributor from vwparts.net. It's worked fine for me so far, but I haven't done many km with it yet.
