kombis stopped christmas eve


kombi was driving well!! then started to cough a little and stopped? would anyone out there know ? when earliest workshops open in melbourne!! dont care where just need fixed asap



Ay Dad! can you move the kombi? i need to move the 58 beetle so we can get the baja out off shed and get 69 beetle in:crazy:

I'd say, christmas eve you might have to fix it yourself.

Describe how it stopped, what type of driving were you doing, was it behaving normally prior, weather conditions, last serviced, what you had for breakfast, when did you last go to the bathroom, and any other info you'd wish to share........

Maybe someone close can help so where are you presently?

People here could help you through various checks, depending on what you want to do, how many tools do you have????????????????

I would start with fuel. That is what it would do if the fuel pump failed.

Take ur air filter off. By hand open ur throttle, if you can't see fuel squirt down, then u know u ain't got fuel in the carb. Either pump, blocked filter/supply line. follow it through.

69' baja: kombi box, thing spindles, irs, disc front, type 3 rear drums, 2 inch lift kit, 31x10 rears. :tu:
New engine in process: 94mm p&bs, 74mm C/w chomol Crank, 35.5x39 SP heads, turbo. Wierd combo, hopeful torque monsta!
