Original colored red for a 1970 bug

My beetle is a 1970 and red in color. I tried finding the code on it but I can't see it. Does anybody know the color code for the red 1970 Beetle?

My 1970 Aussie built bug used to be Kings Red, which was L30A.

Lots of different red's round that time tho - check out http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcodedisplay.cgi?manuf=Volkswagen&year=19...

L30A was called poppy red in other countries...

VW colors were called different things in the UK & Other European and USA etc.. Australia

as VWs were painted in Australia [usually] the color may be different altogether from the German color...

Berger or Dulux Paints were used... in Australia

At the front of the car, near the compliance plate, there would have been a sticker with the colour name and company (eg dulux).

Thats not rust, it's ah ... orange primer ... yep that's what it is ...
