Hi was just looking at the cars for sale and noticed you got this bus for free?
Just wanting to know have you done any work on it as you now want $3500 for it.

Fair question and although I don't need to justify it... I am happy to

I did actually pay both the owner and the spotter a nominal fee/gratuity
Plus the freight costs - trailer hire petrol etc to get it home and the storage cost since, and some minor work I have done

Plus the few extra bucks ive put on it to allow for the lowballers and offers a person needs to expect and allow for.

At the end of the day it's a good base for a Resto and I've always wanted a split, but for now my family and new career opportunity are my priority and the cars are taking a back seat, Worst case if this or any of the others don't sell I'm sure I'll come back to them when the time comes.

I also buy and sell a fair bit of stuff from time to time and sometimes I take a loss, sometimes a profit, and sometimes break even... I don't like declaring it but I'm also pretty well known in parts of the vw community for my free advice, helping hand, and even give away a fair bit of stuff too.

Cheers, Ben

Shouldn't have to justify yourself mate thats your buisness and all we need to know is it's for sale, and mate if i had the coin (begging the missus) i would be all over it.

thanks for the kind words guys, as i said it is a fair question and i have nothing to hide and happy to answer it...

even if the question is from a new member with only 2 posts and doesn't like to include their name - i'd be interested to know if we've met or not? (please don't take that the wrong way its not a stab at you, just frustrates me with all the keyboard warriors out there, not to mention the text messages i'm getting off the ebay ad... seriously call me i won't bite)

reserve now met on ebay to answer anyones questions on how it sits - open the flood gates the van is 'on the market'

cheers Ben

i don't know ben personally, but i will have a stab in his defence.

if you are going to have a shot at least have the balls to use your real handle or name.

how much he asks is his and why is his buisness. that he is willing to explain shows strength of character.

if you want it, put up the money, if not too bad.
