Hawaii

So, i'm off to Hawaii in several days, and i was just wondering who has been there and is there anything that you reccomend to do whilst over there?

Obviously we will do Pearl Harbour and tour those places for a day, have a surf, snorkel, cage dive with sharks.

Cheers

If i had a doller for every person who asked me that, i would have a one way ticket there.

I'm going over with my mum, dad and brother. 9 nights 8 days....the time difference is actually huge.

Hmm,
Got back about 6 weeks ago...nice place to visit (we did Oahu and the Big Island) but wouldn't go back.
Traffic is miserable on Oahu but we got out for a day tour etc. I'd catch shuttle buses or anything else rather than ANY taxi there. Cheap? Only in some things..grogski and food etc. The tipping "standard" is now 18 percent, so don't forget that if you go to a restaurant. We decided on hiring a car on the Big Island. Don't believe (we didn't luckily) any add that craps on about "X" price to rent a car.
After the eye watering insurance options are selected, effectively double what is advertised. We liked the Big Island better than Oahu/Honolulu.

Funnily enough you do see nice Dubs there...

Personally...Kona coffee is overrated:lol: . The instant Kona stuff you can get at one of several-hundred-per-square-mile ABC stores is tastier IMHO.

An experience to be sure, but not to be repeated by these little black ducks.
