Doormobile roof leaks -fixes?

Hi all

anyone experienced leaks around the fixed glass in the doormobile roof? I am getting water in around the ruber seal as the water just sits in the recess and does not drain away. thinking of trying a bit of silicon but interested in other solutions?

cheers

Fixed up One recently that was leaking,if it's just around the fixed window it may be just the rubber seal.A lot of the roofs now need full resto the fibreglass cracks from. mounting bolts thru the f/ glass and the flexing of the popout window and the grab handles, multiple coats of paint and sealer rotton wood etc.all the parts were avaliable but to do it properly it wasn't cheap

Yep ... sell a kidney (just lots of hours labour) but the result is worth it.
One of the issues is how thin the fibreglass is particularly where the fixed window is, and as Col said all the through bolts.

thanks Col - pretty sure it is just around the fixed windows (recessed windows in a roof - great design!!) thankfully the rest looks OK

any sugestions on where to source the seal? I know bus doctor has the doormobile pop top (one of them is cracked and leaks but duct tape fixed that - not pretty but effective till I can replace) so will try them but interested in other thoughts.

cheers
