Thanks for that Matt but I have no problems with my electrics , it's Mick my son and his baja, we've done the same to his as my buggy but still the
water must be getting in somewhere. We even had to tow him home from Pomona the other day!! Great fun. Love the vids though

Yeah, bit of a myth there... know a bloke who hosed out the interior of an Unimog (the big 20foot high green trucks the Army has) and yup - fried most
of the electrics.
He definitely wasn't very popular with the Transport boss !!!
Main exception I know of is a thing called an Austin Champ that the Army had in 50's and 60's... purpose built with a sealed up PETROL engine and
able to be driven completely submerged.

The Austin Champ also had a Rolls Royce engine but the car was prone to falling to bits!
