WTB: 5.60 x 15 Cross-plys

Anyone got a set lying around they're looking to off load? 5.60x15's, wh1tewalls or standard, must be in VGC. All brands considered but Firestone and Coker seem the most common.

I am located in Eltham Vic but am prepared to pick up in the greater Melb area. PM me if you have any available.

Cheers

the ones most people have are Very old and even if they have heaps of tread I wouldn't put them on a car...
COKER must be newer brand of tyres probably from the USA...

cheers

Thanks Lee, I am hoping someone may have a newer set that they aren't using anymore. At around $250/tyre new, they're a bit $$$ for my liking.

Thanks guys, I suspect shipping may make interstate tyres prohibitive. Preference is for something in Melb.

I am aware of Antique Tyres. Great tyres, but very pricey, hence my post!

OK, none of my business I know but just curious, why would you want cross ply tyres?

Thanks for all the responses/PMs, I reckon I'll end up going with the Camac tyres, at $150 each (must be what you got Jon?). They're the same as what the '54 pan at the Vic Day of was running. Firestones and Coker were in the order of $250/each which was just too $$ for me.

Why cross-plys? You just cannot get the exact same look with a radial tyre.
