supercharger?
im removing the twin turbos from my ej20tt ( to many problems for every day driving) and still want to do somthing a little different.
Was looking at a small side supercharger from the old 4agze toyota the other day. hmm
yet a vortex as they are compact
im more after touque rather than pure hp, and thought this might the go.
Or should i just convert it to a single turbo and be done with it?
Happy to hear any suggestions, ideas etc
Thanks nathan

I've tried to do it with mine as I still have my SC12, there's just not enough room in a bug to mount the blower unless you go the no decklid look.

bugger... , im tryn to keep the car looking sorta wide stockish, so the deck lid is to stay .cando the body work easy though on the lid.. i have the body 32mm higher than standard with the sub
frame im puting under the body. ( but by the time ya add the 20 - 25mm clearences hmmm)
ive turned the rear parcel tray inside out and just left room for the rear seat for where the turbos were going to be situated. and was looking at
running the blower backward in the hole as there is room back there to go higher and move the alt over to the side?
Thanks Joel.

You would only go a supercharger for the cool factor.
Turbos have it all over blowers on modern engines.

been looking and i just cant lay the sc14 over and have it drive ( or quite fit it. sc12 is not much smaller so the a turbo is starting to look good.
the 2 speed supercharger fits, but as you say turbo would blow a super charger out of the water.
the turbine on the 2 speed would sit past the back of the motor, but @ the end of the day jumping on the subi forums, well ill be kicking myself. so
looks like a turbo is going to have to do. thanks all for input!
