New narrowed beam torsion leaf issues
I have just bought a new narrowed BJ beam and leaf set and went to put it together over the weekend and found only one set would fit. Tried swapping
them top to bottom, turning them 180 but no joy. What I did notice is one set has a narrower large leaf than the other 3. The other set, the one that
wont fit, has all 4 large leaves the same thickness. I dont reckon they should be super loose in the adjusters but surely I shouldnt need to belt them
in with a hammer? (which didnt work either) I cant see any burrs on the adjusters which might be reducing the clearance. Thanks for any ideas,

What a surprise, ill-fitting parts......from northern Australia's off shore manufacturing plant.
Find which torsion leaf is the problem. When fitted individually, they should fit through the hole in the centre adjuster and be able to roll through
the hole if twisted, or check them dimensionally against your og leaves (although is it the leaves or the adjuster hole????)
B/J torsions are difficult at the best of times.

Check to see if you have 12v adjusters, the profile for a 6v adjuster is different, also cable tie yr leaves when putting in, this helps!

Individually all the leaves fit without a drama in both adjusters. Its only one set that wont let the 3 small leaves fit, in either adjuster. Are all
the leaves meant to be the same thickness, looking at them end on? because one set has a thinner leaf. Was hoping to get this new beam as near as
completely assembled as possible so when I do the change out i wont be rushed to get it mobile. Fun time is severely limited with 2 kids under 2 1/2!

Vollks sent a replacement leaf set which fitted perfectly. 3 cheers to Wassim. The new set had the one skinny main leaf as well. will have to check
the original leaves profiles when I change out the beam
