Child anchor points in a late notch?
I am wondering if anyone has any experience with installing child restraint anchor points in the rear of a late model notchback?
My little lady would like the smaller of our kids to use the the Type 3 but as they are not quite old enough to be out of restraints either I need to
install anchors, or postpone them going in the car.
Any assistance appreciated.

Ha, very true but I have 2.5 years until the smaller one is able to get to a seat that is not tethered. :-(

can be done easily, you should go to an approved child seat fitter if you are not equiped/capable yourself, easy process and worth doing correctly
obviously....

Thanks, glad to know it can be done. Do you know where they affix to?

Peter from custom vee dub (0733564356) put points in my bug.. the little man totally loves it! He has a fisher price steering wheel that makes the
same noises and he was blown away the fist time we want for a cruise. I got it plated by a mate of mine that owns DB auto tech, but peter can get the
plate sorted for you

Check out your state or territory roads authority. They should have a list of registered child restraint fitters (I know they do for Vic). Have a chat
to one of them, they will tell you what needs to happen. They can also do it for you.

Thanks everyone. I'm in the Blue Mountains so anyone Sydneyside would work out I reckon.
Appreciate the help.

Thanks Paul.
I searched and Production Automotive are on the list and are close by. I reckon they might have a clue about fitting up restraints to an air cooler!
